舞火　Fire Trance／岡本祐季

オマージュ　速水御舟 炎舞 ⁡ 業火に惹かれて焼かれてしまう蝶の姿を 儚さと危うさ そして 抗えない痺れるほどの誘惑 ⁡ ⁡ ⁡ 実は ⁡ 豪火に焼かれる 抗えない力に対する怒りと切なさをも秘めて ⁡ 制作していました。 ⁡ ⁡ ⁡ 数年前に8月6日に展示をしなければ 伝えることを一生しなかったと思います。 ⁡ ⁡ ⁡ 8月6日のために作った作品ではありませんが 広島で育ち、小学生の多感な子供の頃から大人になる直前まで平和と戦争を平和学習の一環として学び育った一人として 広島の今の平和を感じる一人として ⁡ 伝えたい気持ちがある。 ⁡ ⁡

If we had not had the exhibition on August 6 a few years ago I don't think I would have told you this story. I did not create this work for August 6. As someone who grew up in Hiroshima and learned about peace and war as part of my peace studies from the impressionable years of elementary school until just before I became an adult As a person who feels the peace of Hiroshima today I have a desire to convey this message.
